[Quote] Living in the Present

Men spend their lives in anticipation, in determining to be vastly happy at some period when they have time.  But the present time has one advantage over every other — it is our own.  Past opportunities are gone, future have not come.

Thanks! Many times, I feel like I’m thinking so much about the future that I can’t enjoy the present day… then I’m missing the things right in front of me (my baby daughter learning to crawl, the crunch of snow under my feet, the deep azure of the sky). I want to live in the present day and take in all the sights, sounds, and feelings!
